Just stumbled across something concerning.
I recently redid my website with Zenfolio, and have heard such great things about it...and I really like it too.
I've been working on SEO this week, adding more tags and keywords and descriptive things. I just googled my name (Shea Wyatt) and I'm the first site that pops up....also a bunch of images from my site show up as well. You can click on the images and be taken directly to a pretty high quality jpg at 580x387 pixels....but you can then just change the number at the end of the address to increase the size, up to 1440x960 pixels!
What shows up in google: http://www.sheawyatt.ca/img/s8/v76/p1473004540-3.jpg![]()
Change the last digit to a higher number: http://www.sheawyatt.ca/img/s8/v76/p1473004540-6.jpg![]()
This is concerning because I thought Zenfolio did not give direct access to jpgs for the random public. Obviously you can always use a screen capture to steal an image from someones site, but here you can circumvent their protection entirely.
I was hoping to avoid watermarks by going with Zenfolio. I have the large sizes enabled because HD screens are commonplace these days. I like that my images are showing up in google.
Help!?
