Well tonight some of us were hanging out at my buddies new bodyshop shooting cars in his paintbooth (very good lighting haha) and I wanted to try my hand at actual non-candid headshots. I'm no where near as good as some of you guys and gals, but it was my first time doing them along with using artificial lighting (first two).

I like them all Esp. #1. Once you do a little touch-up they'll be great. I removed the hair and a few of the blemishes, I hope you dont mind.

That touch up makes all the difference. Good original shots too.

I don't mind on the touch up at all. Some things I can do a in photoshop and some I can't. I probably would've screwed up haha.

Thanks for the comments everyone it's appreciated.

minime9us - as far as making the eyes blue and desaturating everything else there are a few ways you can do that. I know one way is using layers, but all I did was desaturate then used the magnetic lasso around her eyes and messed with the color levels.

Is there a tutorial on how to desaturate?

Love 'em. The first one is particularly good. Here's some basic math for you:

20D + bodyshop with great lighting + bodyshop with cars + bodyshop with lovely ladies = potential for some amazing shots.
