This time the kids were in bed and my wife got to pose for me. Where can I improve? Let me know what you think.

Sorry Michael, just the dreaded X
If you can't get it fixed I'll just delete the thread.
Good luck.

I can see them now - and delighted I am to be able to.

You have a very attractive wife who has made those pics look great.

I am really no good as a photo critic - I just post how I feel - and I like those pictures.

Thanks for taking the time to fix the links and make them available.

these are very nice, how did you get that background so nice and black while keeping here exposed correctly?

Thamk you minime9us and ronosmena for your comments. As far as getting the background black: that is the result of having a nice distance from the model to the background, about seven feet in this case. I also have the main light relatively close to the model.

As far as my set up goes, over here (https://photography-on-the.net/forum/showthread.php?t=130670) is my first attemt at using some rather inexpensive lighting.

I really like these. I think they could stand to be brightened up a half stop or so.

I agree, nice portraits. Maybe a touch more saturation and that extra half a stop.

I like all of them :) 1 thing I would personally prefer is that #1,3,4 were in portrait and not lanscape style as to me there is too much black negative space but that is easily remedied with a little cropping :)

Great shots, a lovely model who poses well. I would like to see the exposure bumped at little would be my only thought to change anything.
