Oh wow,. I love that Freedom arms...
Was never in a position to make a purchase like tha worht it as far as use.. thus I settled for the fraction of the cost Ruger Super Blackhawk .44 and Redhawk limtd. edition .454

I see you too have found the advantages of the Pachmeyers on the sigle action :)
Your image shows well the extreme difference in the profile of the Pachmeyer vs. the classic single action wood grip profile.

CDS:
I also have the Super Blackhawk. It was my dad's, and is close to 40 years old. It is the three screw model. It is one of my favorite guns. The Ruger .454 is an awesome revolver. To this day one of the most accurate revolvers I ever owned was a Ruger super redhawk .44 mag with 9 1/2" barrel. I sure miss that gun, It had unreal accuracy. I have not pulled a trigger on any of my handguns in over two years. Is that not sad or what? The photography stuff took me over. They are locked away, so my daughter can't get to them. Oneday when she is older I will train her how to shoot. She will have alot to choose from. However, She will start out with a BB rifle and work her self up. Maybe I'll let her touch the handguns when she's 25 :D .

Canon 30D w/ battery grip, Canon 70-200 f/4, Sigma ex 100-300 f/4, Canon 1.4X Teleconverter, Canon 2.0X MK2 Teleconverter,Canon RS-80N3 remote switch, Manfrotto 3021 pro tripod, Manfrotto 3047 Panhead, Manfrotto 679B monopod, Lowepro 600 AW backpack,Quantaray U-100 backpack,Visible dust sensor cleaning kit.
Incredible wife to put up with my hobby...:D

We tried some fun shots tonight but they didn't turn out at all. I don't have real lights so it was impossible to get anything right...

WiseLion.. the timing is almost identical for me..

Since taking up photography my "shooting" has been alomost completely with the camera,. and in fact the last time I was at a range was about three years ago. I still have them in the safe,. but don't even have a membership any more to go and get the lead out.

It's a Henry Mini Bolt .22 (with crazy accuracy). The kids love it but it's so small and light people tend to think it's a toy at first sight.

Archosman, nice shots!
