As some of you already know, I recently posted a thread titled
!! My quick and easy "Sky Fix" !!
Well.... In my never ending quest to find shortcuts in CS2, I came up with this.
I don't know if I'm "origional", or if this technique has already been discused here, or elsewhere, but in all my searching to learn, I haven't seen this method. This is quick, and easy. I have had success on .jpeg, .tiff, .psd, and raw, and works well on a sky that's not screwed-up, if you just need to enhance it a little.
No messed-up treeline.
Here's how:
Open photo in CS2 ( other ver. that allow gradient "color burn" will probably work)
Magic Wand>sky
Gradient Tool>choose Blue of your choice>choose Linear>
Mode ColorBurn>choose Opacity (I've had best success between 40-70 % )
drag gradient from top of photo to treeline. Badda Bing, done deal.
experiment with opacity to get results you want.
I edited a gradient, to create my own sky blue.
