First time I've ever really focused on shooting distance running, my girlfriend has taken up the sport over the last few months and it sounds like I'll be at one a month for the rest of the summer (ending with a color run); so I'll gladly take critiques. I hung near the start finish point, prerace I stuck to the 16-35, close and wide, then once things were underway I switched to the 300 for the runners, kept it @ 2.8 and tried to use the DOF to isolate the runners and get emotions near the finish line, 135 for candids when it was all over, and a few with the 50 on the film body (which still has frames left on the roll so that's going to be a while before I see results).
