I need to get hold of a flash for my 1D mark IIn. I will be using it ON the camera, not as a slave. I can't afford Canon brands so I have been looking at Yongnuo. I read a few reviews and the spec on some of them, but am left confused as to which will work on the 1DIIn.

Has anyone used Yongnuo flash on a 1DIIn. I would prefer to have TTL rather than manual.

Let me know what you think? Any advice taken...also if there are alternatives out there which I should consider...

Many Thanks

Any of yongnuo's current ETTL flashes should be compatable with the 1D2n. I know the 568ex list the "1D series" as being compatable and the 565ex lists all of the 1D camera except the 1D2n but I would assume that as just being an over site in the listing (and by "the listing" I mean the listing on thephotogadget as that's where I go for yongnuo info.....not a fan of yongnuo's actual site)

I think the omission on the 1Diin on that site is what threw me in the first place...I saw no reason why a 1DII and a 1DIIn are any different in that respect...but I don't really know. :(

Thanks for your input. :)
