Yeah, its not because of that. My garden is very mature and bursting with plants and I have noticed a huge difference in what I am missing. My damsels from the pond are few and far between - far less than in previous years. Hovers are so thin on the ground its worrying. Quite a few bees around and some of those really tiny ones but so far no ichneumons which I usually frequently see.

Even my mint moths arent around - only saw a couple a few weeks ago and thats it. Some of the plants are well behind though, the large papaver poppies are flowering now and they normally flower any time from April :confused:
