So, what's the proper etiquette to photograph someone while they're working? I was coming home this morning and went through a construction site and one of the workers holding the traffic control sign (female) just totally looked photographical. Her hair was a little defrazzled, she was hot (as in sweaty) and the scene looked perfect for a few quick snaps. Maybe about a minute or 2 tops taking some photos.

Of course I'd have to have her sign the release stuff because I'm sure she'd like to see them as well. I don't like putting pictures of people up on the internet without their permission especially if they're the prime subject.

I don't know, it was just one of those moments where I saw the photos in my head as I drove past. The situation was just beckoning to be photographed. I didn't have my camera with me (which is odd because I almost always have it with me) because I took my parents to the airport yesterday and everything I had in the trunk was removed so I could fit their luggage in there.

Part of me wants to grab the camera and head back over there and try and get some photos. I just might. What's the worst that could happen?

Shampoo sounds like an unfortunate name for a hair product.
You're a ghost driving a meat-coated skeleton made from stardust, riding a rock, hurtling through space. Fear Nothing!

Construction workers who aren't familiar with "reasonable expectation of privacy" get offended, break all your gear, and punch your teeth out.

I did not do it but if I would have went back I would have left the camera in the car and asked beforehand. If they say no or throw a punch I could probably duck it. :) I have great reflexes even in my mid 40's. :)
