Wonderful weekend in Valencia in Spain covering GP3. Excellent weather, Two totally different podiums, essentially the winner has to come from the first 3 rows and if you make a good start and don't cook the tyres you are home and dry.
Nonetheless a few spinners and choice over takes made the races entertaining.
1. Valencia has to be one of the coolist tracks to pan at. Empty or full the grandstands make excellent backgrounds. #27 Aaro Vainio (FIN) - Koiranen GP

2. Some of the drivers hide away form the photographers others help their sponsors get maximum exposure. #16 Dino Zamparelli (GBR) - Marussia Manor Racing

3. #24 David Fumanelli (ITA) - Trident. In the "devil light" the races were held in the whites on the cars hard to keep under control.

4. #In contrast (groan making pun sorry) - the light for Free Practice held at 9:30 local time on saturday morning, was just about perfect.

5. I like the framing on this shot but cannot get it to "pop" yet .... more work required. #23 Giovanni Venturini (ITA) - Trident

6. Photo bombing by #2 Facu Regalia (ARG) - ART Grand Prix - Well not quite, he is stepping out of his race car having finished 2nd in race 2

7. #12 Alex Fontana (CHE) - Jenzer Motorsport - Essentially the same pan as shot 1 just a little earlier in the turn. Totally different mix of background to work with.

8. #2 Facu Regalia (ARG) - ART Grand Prix on the Grid for Race 2.

The only downside to the weekend was the photographer that seemed to always be on my shoulder coping the shots I was taking. Immitation is the sincerest form of flattery but by the end of the weekend I was getting a little fed up with it.
Hay-ho. The buyers decide .... CC, always welcome
Cheers Dave
