Couldn't find any other place for this so.

I have a canon 7D
I love it, but it overheats too much with video.

I want to sell my wide angle and pick up a used video camcorder.

Things I need from it.

720 HD
Either 32gb+ internal memory, or a slot to put a memory card.
Handle
Mic
able to attach a fisheye lens or attachment

I will be recording Skateboarding and skateboarding only.

I don't mind used, I don't mind something cheap.
I just need to shoot non professional quality Skate videos.

Lots of options for what you want. I think Michael makes a good point about the top handle rig. I would call that essential for filming skating. Regardless of what camcorder you choose, it will also not shoot wide enough for good skating video so you should consider that you will need a wide angle adapter lens as well. I would also look for a camera that shoots HD at 60fps which will give you better slow motion effects. And lastly, easy access to full manual controls.

Since you only need 720p, you could go with an older model and find a really good deal. I suggest you only look at Canon, Panasonic, and Sony handycams.

Those look good. I am mainly wanting a bigger camcorder style with a bigger built in mic and handle on top.

I just wanna find an older model so a used one or new one would be cheap.

oh and yes manual controls would be amazing if they make that

You didn't really say what your budget is but I'm guessing that since you're looking to sell a lens to buy the camera, your budget is pretty low. You are not going to find a professional top handle cam with flash memory capability for under $1200.

For under $400 I recommend looking for a Panasonic HDC-TM90. It is last years model so can be found new still for fairly cheap. It shoots up to 1080p60 in AVCHD, has manual control, 16GB built-in memory and an SD card slot. It also has a jack for a stereo 3.5mm mic input, HDMI out, multi-AV and USB jacks. The 10x f/2 lens is 28mm at the wide end. I have had this camera for about a year and a half and it has been very good for my uses. I would say its biggest downside is low light performance is not spectacular but, in this price range none really are.

Mount it on a top handle rig like mentioned earlier with a 0.7x adapter lens and you would have a fantastic skate rig for very little investment. Add a Rode Videomic pro later when funds allow...Done!

Thanks for the good advice.

My lens is worth around $700 and I can add more to it.

I want something of very high quality that will at least produce a good looking skate film. I don't want it looking cheap.

Mainly worried about build quality and filming for long periods in high heat.

My range is between $600-1400

Cheaper the better tho.

Well...in that case, the Canon XA10 from the Canon refurb store is probably exactly what you want. I know it's what I want! It was on sale a couple days ago for $1249 but now it is back up to $1499. The new XA20's will be out soon and I expect the price of this cam to drop.
