Intel sez the owner is from Lake In the Hills, IL... If anybody feels the need for well almost the speed, there are 2 L-29's on the ramp at my airport, KLNC, Lancaster, Texas for sale...

That has to be the ultimate toy for me! I LOVE Mig-21's (all variants) I just wish in the UK, we we're aloud private jets with afterburners!

Thanks everyone for the kind words. Definitely a large yet nimble jet.
I am under the impression you are able to own them privately as I know of 3 that do here in the states. I am also told the Russian Jets are not as expensive but that could be here say ...

I do know that Black Diamond are selling the Migs and they are around 98k :)

Bingo :) ... Im sure they dont have the oil and stuff at the local market

this sadly was not air to air ... He was climbing out after a low approach and liked the way the light hit the jet and create a sheen appearence ....
