I like these they do a good job of "Dad". Like the smiles.

Not a fan of the ear thing or the vignetting.

"Happy Father's Day Jerry! " seems slightly soft, a little overexposed and composition would have been better tighter in.

Wow, this is a first lol. I posted these on two other sites and the B&W one was the shot people kept saying was their favorite. Interesting....

Yeah really not getting the ear thing. Pictures aren't bad, but how on earth did that come up as a valid idea?

Simple, the dad started nibbling on the baby's ear, baby started giggling, I snapped the photo.

Lol, you guys act like he put some salt and pepper on the kid and went Hannibal Lecter on him.

Haha. Well I looked at your Flickr and there is another were they are both trying to eat his hand. I didn't see any with forks in hand so it is safe to assume the kid made it out alive.

I like your set! I personally found your watermark/logo distracting especially since there were numbers in your logo, but that's just me.

Thanks man! Yea I'm considering changing to just my initials.

Another good set -- the colors just pop and the picture tells a great "story" with this family. One thing I'd like for you to work on is the picture of the father and the baby. There's a lot of dead space above the father's head and his wrist is cut off – so maybe take a few more seconds to get that right composition. Other than that, I'm liking what I see, especially that updated logo.

Thanks yeeitsmarc! Appreciate the critiques. I will definitely keep in mind the composition next time.

One thing I've found is that when you're preparing for a shoot you have these ideas in your head. But when you get out there and start snapping, most of those ideas go by the wayside (that's how it is for me at least). Especially when shooting babies/kids. The baby starts running around or crying and your brain starts racing. Shooting people is something I've had to learn over time.
