Filter recommendation for Sigma 150-500

I have recently bought a Sigma 150-500mm lens. Very happy with it. I usually get a filter for my lenses...to protect them.

My usual brand...B+W. I've always been impressed with their quality.

What kind of filter would you recommend UV-haze or clear ?

Clear, you don't need UV with digital sensors, also, this post shouldn't be in the lens sample forum, I think you accidentally put it in the wrong place, you should be up one level in the general lens forum.

Personally I have Hoya EVO filters on a couple of my lenses and am very happy with them.
