Carpet Beetle... (not good to have it seems)...

The carpet beetle can apparently cause a fair amount of damage if it gets into your home - and they are very good flyers, and being so small (this was about 3mm in length) they are quick to burrow into your carpet and soft furnishings!

Luckily for me, this is one of three, which were outdoors, on an Iris petal, and like as not, waiting for an open window!
