I really love this image but havent heard any feedback on it and it has a really low view/like ratio on 500px. Am I just in love with it because its mine?

I think it's a cute idea, but it seems a little too dark and gloomy to me.

It's cool but the king and queen need to be closer. Compositionlly it doesn't work. I like the idea though

I like the idea as well, but the three lights are very distracting to me.

I have to go along with some of the others in that I like the concept very well. The three lights and ghost like reflections draw too much away from the subject. My personal preference would be to have a little more light on the face side of the image.

Nice concept, just not working. Composition should be changed I agree too much separation and the lights aren't adding - the groom's ring gets a bit lost with the dark background and dark wood. My eye keeps going back and forth between the lights and the white reflections between the chess pieces. I'm sure the couple would like it (and I'm guessing chess means something to them too) but it's a basic shot that doesn't appeal much to me.
