We have been staying around Roseburg Oregon for the last week and there are a great many beautiful waterfalls in the area - these are from today -

You're about an hour and a half from Crater Lake. Planning on going?

Very nice, Marcy. We once drove Route 138 to Crater Lake, stopping for some of the falls along the way. I think Toketee is the prettiest we saw, requires a hike of a mile or so, but well worth it.

thanks all for the comments - since I have been to the area several times I have done all the falls along Rte 138 and Crater lake (most of the road around the Crater is still closed right now) so I chose some of the other falls on the Row River and the Little River - they had some great hikes and was nice to see other places and almost nobody else in the area -

Beautiful shots. The Umpqua river valley is exquisitely scenic. Well captured!

And yes, you don't want to go to Crater Lake until late July to August if you want to drive all the way around. The crater rim road is never open fully even at the 4th of July. They get insane amounts of snow up there.

Gear List

If I don't get the shots I want with the gear I have, the only optics I need to examine is the mirror on the bathroom wall. The root cause will be there.
