These turned out so so :P But I still like them, so I thought I'd share. Kit lens with reverse adapter. No flash..... man I need to set up a flash for macro work :P

And this is a drone honeybee that died after mating with the queen that must have come through with the swarm that just took up residence in our house :P

Thanks..... usually when I go looking for bugs I can't find anything... lol Last night I was just trying to get a pic of that drone when I started noticing everything in the yard :P The ants are fun to watch .... even if they are on my apple tree :P

Thanks everyone :) Look for aphids on anything you DON'T want them on :P Fruit trees, strawberry plants, some flowers. I found these on my apple tree. They seem to like fruiting plants from what I've seen..... and the ants like to farm them there. I had large black ants farming aphids on my strawberry plants years ago. You have to look.... from a distance it just kinds looks like the stem.... since they are packed so tightly.

It is indeed amazing and I never noticed the aphids before I started doing macro. Many things I was not aware of actually...
