long exposure

I shot this at 2:30/3:00AM with my 100/400 F16 about a 60sec. exposure at 100mm.
The lighting was a challenge, very bright in front of me where the boats lock through overall I think it turned out ok. Thoughts?

(Lock and dam 7 on the Mississippi river)

I think the composition is lovely. I personally would try for more saturated colors in the sky and water, but that might push it into the realm of looking like an ordinary evening shot. Not sure how much wiggle room you have there. Like you said, if the lighting was tricky that influences a lot. Overall I like it.

The colors are nice & you've held detail in the structure on the left. It's just that there's not much else in the image to capture my interest.

This. My eyes kept drawing down the bridge to right, with no reward at the end.
