I went last Monday at 1:30pm. There was a decent crowd there but I was able to get some awesome shots! All shot with a 5D II and a 17-40

Wow those are some nice shots.. especially the one with the birds.. I was at the 12:15pm tour.. I probably exited right when you entered the lower canyon.

Great photos. I need to go there, fast. When is it best to go? Avoid the hottest times and monsoon season...

Well the secret to these slot canyons is to not include the sky....for the most part. You get a much better tonal range that way.
