That could be my problem. Maybe others will chime in. I see you went up on the hill to shoot Grand Prismatic, but not high enough to get it all. I assume it was at 10mm. Jun 21, 2013 19:56 | #4 Yeah, I have a hard time sometimes with the darkness, I set my Macbook monitor at 2 clicks below full brightness when I edit pictures. I suppose they look different on other peoples monitors. Is there a better way to go about that issue? I would appreciate some input! 1Dx 7D 500 f4L 70-200 f2.8L II 24-70 f2.8L II 100 f2.8L IS Macro 85 1.2L II

I have messed up knees...so I went about 50 yards up the hill and took the shots there. I was more worried about getting down than going up any higher. I think that is a common problem, at least I have it. My screen brightness varies with the angle , so I never know for sure. If there's a way to make sure it's right for other monitors, I'm not aware of it. Stan (See my gallery at http://www.pbase.com/sparker1
