Do you have any of the shots you took? I wasn't a huge fan of the lodge... or the ceremony location. Just a strange mix of different settings.

Was the ceremony on the island? The worst thing about it are the large apartment buildings. I'd have to dig up the shots it's been quite a while. The "beach" area is nice and the lodge isn't horrible - you did well there with what is there. I agree there's less really good places to shoot but you can get some good light in the lodge just the backgrounds aren't as nice. I guess I'm fond of it as it is one of the few places here you can have a beach themed wedding and those are fun. Maybe it's because my own wedding was a beach theme.

Oh no worries. I didn't know if you had them on a blog or something. In regard to the ceremony... it was on the island. What I thought was strange is the lodge is so rustic and mountain feeling, and then you walk outside and its a beach scene with metal palm trees. Overall, it was a great wedding, but still, just kind of hard to make everything flow as some venues do.
