This lady was with a couple of her friends at the coffee shop in the bookstore. The colors were great, but I'm sticking with my b&w kick.

sapearl Cream of the Crop More info | Jun 22, 2013 22:45 | #5 Yes Nino - that is moving in the right direction. I believe you have achieved the proper tonality. Make her fingers too dark and it starts looking a bit unnatural. It's challenging in a situation like that, just using the available light at hand, but you spotted a good composition and made the most of it. GEAR LIST

Thanks all for the advice and compliments. I'll maybe try darkening the background (I'm assuming her shirt) just a tad instead of the entire exposure since I think I have nailed the rest of composition. 5D MK3 | iPhone 6s Plus

Nino You are very welcome Nino - it's often very satisfying to see how a composition evolves through different viewpoints to the final interpretation of the maker GEAR LIST

It was similar back in the wet darkroom days too .I used to be an IT, so I guess that's why I can take the feedback that quickly. hahaha. As far as darkrooms go....All I need now are the chemicals 5D MK3 | iPhone 6s Plus
