Here are a series of images that I captured this past week from my kayak. I've also posted some bird photos over in the bird forum that also came from kayaking.

Thanks for looking!

Just as awesome as your birds! Beautiful set! A dragonfly on a turtle...how awesome is that!

Nice shots :) I'm a little too chicken to shoot from my kayak, Barracuda, fast but tippy. What kayak do you use?

Beautiful! I especially love the deer in the water shot. Being so low on the water allows you to get that low angle perspective that is awesome! You should print and frame the deer shot.

If I don't get the shots I want with the gear I have, the only optics I need to examine is the mirror on the bathroom wall. The root cause will be there.

Thanks, everyone! Duly noted on the kayak thread. I'll have to get some images in there when I have a minute. Thanks!

Thank you! I, too, thought the perspective was awesome. It's certainly one I could only accomplish in my kayak!

Haha! They were quite cooperative for me and didn't even charge! ;)

I used a 12' Mainstream Sneak for most of these shots. My wife has a 10' Perception Prodigy 10 that I sometimes use, too, because it's shorter and lighter.

All the shots are good but I love the second photo. Wish I had the nerve to take my camera out in my kayak. Maybe it'll happen one day.
