The game will last 7 Days and whoever can produce the best edited image (as judged by me) will be picked and it'll be their turn to post their unedited picture for all of us to take a crack at.

The participants must have their "Image Editing OK" turned on and they must provide at least a simple breakdown of how they edited the image, some entrants are a little vague on this point, please give us all details so we can learn and share tips. For instance if you use the unsharp mask tool or Smart Sharpen, provide us with the adjustments you used so others can try them out.

You can post multiple images, but the first image you post will be the one that is judged - all other images will be considered for knowledge and tip use only.
Feel free to comment and/or ask questions at any time. This is a good competition for learning new methods, so let's make it a bit more dynamic. I will be judging edits, not comments. Feel free to comment on the original image as well.

If you happen to be the winner of the game please start the next one with the title of the game and the following number. For example…the next game should read "Before & After #478".

Submissions end, Saturday, June 29th, 2013 at 10:00 PM GMT-4 (USA Eastern time) and a winner will be announced.

Good Luck and have fun!

Nothing special with the processing here. Just added a half stop of exposure, and added a little clarity. Brought out the red a little more and pushed the yellow rim back a bit.

Opened in Camera RAW, adjusted white balance, shadows, clarity and vibrance and sharpened and lens correction.
In CS6 duplicated BG then converted to B&W and played with sliders until I got what I wanted. Copied lamp and pasted onto other side. Straightened, cropped, then added grain and old scratches texture and changed blend mode. Smart sharpened to finish.

First try on the game. LR4; whites and black adj for contrast, +contrast, lens correct, + a little clariy, crop right side, exposure+ .25, bleach bypass filter in Nik Color Efex, USM +118 in CS5, slight vignette.

I would've done an attachment, but my resizing skills suck. (If I did win, I don't know how to link to a RAW file, sry).

Great edits by all. Love the individuality brought to the table. This winner of this challenge is Colt4570! The crop and processing really made the image. Congratulations.

Thanks very much Nino, glad you liked it. Thanks to everyone else as well, all the edits were great. I love old farm equipment.

If I'm going to post a RAW file, I'm embarrassed to say I need some direction on how to do this. I have a flicker account, but not sure if I can do it there. Can anyone lend a hand with some advise?

Just tried Flickr, and it's a no-go.

Use Dropbox - that's a good way then all you do after updating your image is to copy the link and paste it here
