Hello,

I am looking for a secondary digital cam, something small that can fit in my flight bag and be taken when touring around easily.

I do like the EOS M, they have a very good discount here, but no viewfinder and flash is a bummer.

So I am torn between the two. I understand the x100s is an upgrade from the x100, but it's almost double the price and so can not justify that much money on my third cam.

The iPhone 5 took very decent pictures till now, but I want more.

From owners or ex users, which one would you recommend? For the money I save I can buy a couple of accessories for the x20.

Thanks

A|x

X100? I've heard people say they like the sensor in the old one over the x trans. Also depends on what you want, ones a zoom, ones a fixed 35mm equivalent.

I am not to bothered about the lens, zoom will could be useful, but I like shooting with primes. The 35mn equivalent is what I am after anyways.

I don't have the x100 but the sensor in the x100s is fantastic. The files that come out of it are amazing. As for x20 or x100, they're not really comparable. The x20 is a compact camera with a compact sensor. The x100 has an APS-C sized sensor. That being said, the x20 is a nice little camera and takes great pictures.

I took an X20 on my last trip out West and I was pleased with it.
