External battery

Hi all,

This is a bite of a research thread, so any input is very appreciated.

I know very well that the external battery market is somewhat saturated however I think that there might be a place for a new external battery pack if done properly and in a small portable easy to carry package.

what is the most important thing you guys look for when purchasing an external battery for HD video? Does size and portability matter? do the aesthetics matter?

Please jot down your thoughts in this thread, as it will hopefully help with the product design.

I think it's more on how long it will last and the price of it. Quality with good price would always be the best option.
