Well, it doesn't look like I'm going to be able to make it. I came back from Houston last weekend and that place managed to give me the "gift that keeps on giving" (cold/flu). It's almost gone, but not quite gone yet, and I daren't get into the pilot's seat of my airplane without feeling 100%.

Dwight, you just need to hold these things twice a year!

We are slaving away, cleaning spider webs and dust from outdoor furniture, picking up anything left over from last year, putting away stuff that's on the chairs, scrubbing floors, etc., etc. We should be ready sometime next week!

Don't over work yourself save some engery for the BBQ.

Well, I made it. Checked in a few hours ago went and got some dinner. Then I had to go out again to get a toothbrush I forgot.

I am sad to announce that yesterday, Marna's yard maintenance guy chopped the Hummingbird Bush back to bare branches! Had we realized he was going to do this we could have asked him to wait a week, sigh. The H-birds had been regulars until this disaster.

I could always bring a bottle of home made apple pie!

We usually start about 2:00 at the house but there have been "prior" activities in the past, from handgun range to miniature horses, although it's a little late to put anything together at this point.

I hope I make it, it looks like they're on to me. That can't be that bright, they can't spell surveillance.

Well Boys and Girls, I hope everyone has a great time. Sorry we can't be there, but we had prior plans for this evening. I must admit, even though its my first time checking in, I've been following the thread from the beginning.
