Watched this osprey bring a fish to the nest every twenty minutes. He caught one not far from me and flew to a tree before taking it to the nest. All the fish he brought were all headless. Has anyone else noticed this behavior.

Great angle on the 1st one Ron. I've seen this behavior from the ospreys here also. By eating the head first, the adult ospreys are sure the fish is dead before delivering to the chicks.


... does it really matter?i see with my eyes, i shoot with my fingers.
