My 'springtail mat' is becoming a good habitat for a few things.

A great set of pics Bas, especially the scorpion pics.

Not sure about the grasshopper, it could be, or rather a small cricket. The grasshoppers I get in my garden are a different colour and quite distinguishable even when tiny, so that makes me think it could be a cricket - possibly an Oak Bush cricket as they are that sort of colour.

Thank you Billy. I had to crop these a lot, getting the MP-E to focus that close on a mat just doesn't work with the flash heads on.
