Mark, I was just thinking the same thing, that it's been so long that I have forgotten half of it! But I'm sure it will all come back to us the moment we see AMASS again.

Just looking at the code of the old forum, what I found interesting was the key words. The forum as of today (meta data keyword wise) is up to the following cameras, Canon 5d Mark II, 1d Mark III, 50d..... ![]() AMASS is being coded single handedly by Pekka from scratch. Read up on that and I can fully understand their reasoning behind that. I have looked at many websites that listed keywords that were real popular but not even remotely related to the website in question. Philip

If you do something like php's strip_tags($html_source) for the page source, you can see how much actual textual content there is. The Forum Boss, El General Moderator

The next step is tweaking the upgrade procedure (that takes some days), then putting AMASS on the new server, inviting people to check it out: first the old beta team and mods, then many more, if not all. Final beta should be a short one (no more than two weeks), no new features will be added to final beta and if all seems ok I'll put my time to further tweak slow parts of the upgrade procedure (slow task being 10 million image verifications). to make upgrade downtime as short as possible. I would assume that you could precompute the information for all existing photos right now, and then just make a quick check if the images has been changed during the update procedure. Doing mod tools took much more time than I thought, but they are really cool and canning spammers is so easy and fun that mods wish now that they could hit that button Overall, since the beta phase there are many changes done here and there, new features and better ways to do things.Damn - we report all the new spammers and miss out on the actual fun of getting them evicted 5DMk2 + BG-E6 | 40D + BG-E2N | 350D + BG-E3 + RC-1 | Elan 7E | Minolta Dimage 7U | (Gear thread)
