Headed out to practice some BIF shots at a popular bald eagle hangout.
The juveniles were frisky!

The sparring shots are 100% crops and not the best focus as they were moving fast. Nevertheless, I was tickled to be able to capture the action, regardless!

ONE - this is what I expected

#3, huh? Yup, I like that one too. Almost seems they are trapeze artists reaching out for each other.

Your heart starts pounding when one gets this opportunity. Thanks for sharing Sue.

There will be days when you get the shot(s) you missed days, months or years before.

Yes, my heart was pounding! I was trying to keep my hands steady as I panned with the action, BUT it was hard keeping pace with them. All the while I was muttering, "Oh wow, oh WOW!".

They were a bit of a distance away, thus the 100% crops despite the 100-400mm at full 400 on my 7D.

My "playing" with AI Servo turned into a real challenge!

Despite being heavy crops, they are still very cool, TFS

It gets easier after 5-7 years
