Is there a place in NYC where I can rent a lens? In particular, I need Canon EF 100-400mm. I don't want to order online neither because I don't want to wait nor pay for shipping. I may need it spontaneously.

Thank you, just checked both places - Adorama is cheaper.

I rented from Adorama last week, their weekend rental is by far the best deal you can get. Basically you can check out a lens on Thursday after 4:30pm and then return it before 9:30am on Monday and you pay a little more than a one day rate. My 70-200 f.28 is2 came out to just $40 +tax for those days.
