Scrapped the other 2 designs and went with something totally different. still some hot spots but getting closer.

it's nothing special even worth posting honestly, just a 60D, 100mm macro (non-L) and a 12mm extension tube. I simply built a generic diffuser that mounts to the pop up flash. Pretty much a "work with what ya got" kinda thing

Thank you much Brian, appreciate it. BTW while researching different types of diffusers last night i happen upon a video from 2008 where the creator mentioned you as his inspiration for his "twin beer can flash diffuser" was quite an interesting thing he made.
