I am thinking about picking up a 77mm Variable ND filter from Haida but wasn't too sure about the brand since stores like B&H and Adorama don't sell it. Anybody have any reviews on them? Or about Variable ND filters in general for that big of a lens? (It'll mainly be on my 17-40L)

I'm between either that or a B+W CPL, which would be great for my car photography and landscapes, but I like the creative ability a Vari-ND would give me

Thanks guys

Don't know about the VND, but I have their 10-stop, and it is very good.

Well, I ordered the Vari-ND so I'll let you know if it matches the reputation of the 10 stop

I purchased a Haida 105mm CPL off ebay UK to go on a Lee holder. Handling the Lee 4x4 CPL in some situations gets me nervous, so a cheap CPL will do for those times.

Seems to do ok with my quick indoor tests but haven't had the chance to test it out regarding flaring. For the £25 I paid for it, I'm not complaining.
