I mostly shoot photographs but on occasion add a little video. Video only records to the CF card, not the SD. How do I get it to record to both? Presently record RAW to both cards.

TIA.

Hello,

You can record to CF or SD card with the 5dIII camera.

Please read page 226 in the manual.

You can only record to one card at a time and only record
to the card that is set for playback.

Good luck.

So, unlike photography when I'm shooting video it only records to the one card?

That sucks....

Thanks for your help in clearing this up.

Ran out of space on my Sandisk 60 £47 mbs CF Card so switched to a cheapo £23 16 gig Sony 45 / 95 mbs write and read.
No difference in picture on 1080/24p set at aliI.

So I am a Convert . Same quality half the price and goes straight into a sony viao and reads to the laptop like lightning. Way to go for me!

CF Card for stills, and Sd card for video.
All I had to do was find th
E setting to say write to the card No 2!

Did not chang.e anything else, contrart to an earlier poster.
On a 5DIII.
