great shots. Im going to Costa Rica in august and am seriously thinking about a true macro for this very reason.

Can I ask you what shutter speed/iso you found yourself working with the majority of the time? I have found that shooting in forest cover is a bit tricky...

I find myself constantly changing settings, for the 100mm macro I'll usually stay in the f/8-f/11 with flash but when it's all natural light then I will often go wide open. Shutter speeds don't go below 1/80s and are usually about 1/120s. I try to keep ISOs below 400 but they may extend up to 1600 (on the 5DII/5DIII, never on the 7D which doesn't handle ISOs well). The butterfly shot for example is f/2.8, 1/80s and ISO400.
