Should I ?

Well I found little cash and I currently own 18-55mm , 55-250 mm and now since I got little cash I plan to buy 50mm f1.8 should I do it? Would it be useful what's your advice?

My friend has it and says now he uses 50mm all the time

For the 60D you may consider the 35mm f/2. Yes, a little more expensive, but might be a little better choice for the 60D.

Look at some of your pics and see what focal length you most often use. 50mm is a little too long for most indoor photos. I rarely use my 50mm f1.4.

Whether it would be useful or not depends on what you like to shoot and how you like to shoot it. My advice would be to think about how often you shoot at 50mm and whether you want / need a fast aperture for either shooting in low light, or shallow DOF.

I could give you advice based on what I like to shoot, and whether the 50 f/1.8 would be useful to me (no, by the way, I have fast primes but in other focal lengths) but that has little or no relevance to your requirements.

You could try and borrow your friends 50mm, assuming it is compatible with your camera, and see how you like it. Or try using your 18-55 only at around 50mm, and not zooming for a while, to see how the focal length works for you, although you wouldn't be able to try out the fast aperture effects.

Borrow the 50mm if you can. You have to decide for yourself if it is worth it. It is very inexpensive which is why I got one, and I like it for portraits. It is a bit long indoors though. So the f1.8 is handy in low light but the focal length is a bit long.
You may not like the build quality or focus, those are common complaints, but it is an inexpensive, fast lens solution.

The nifty-fifty (50 mm f1.8) is in another league in terms of sharpness and subject isolation compared to the lenses you have.

I use it for portraits but also as a walk around lens, as the fixed focal length challenges your creativity.

Buy it if you can.

the 50mm 1.8 "nifty fifty" is cheaper in the US!
if you want a "blurry background" portraits then the 50mm 1.8 is a decent large aperture prime lens.

The Nifty Fifty is one of my favorite lenses. It's a great grab-and-go lens when you want very focused targets and excellent bokeh without having to stop-and-think. So it's great for capturing portraits of people and objects in their natural state.

The AF is a tad slower than with other prime lenses, so it may not be great for pets and babies. But its an essential lens if you are photographing people on any regular basis.

This. You should also consider a flash that you can swivel/bounce for much better indoor shots at all focal lengths.

Shoot at longer focal lengths with larger separation from subject to background to get blurrier backgrounds in your portraits. I often shoot portraits at 5.6 with my 70-200

I bought the 50mm and tbh I LOVE IT

Have done similar shots with my 55-250mm. IIRC these flowers were about 15 feet away from where i was standing. This was f7.1. Took this shot this way to make it look like a painting.

I got the 50 f1.8 when I started with a Rebel T2i. Great lens, but never really had the chance to use it to it's full potential because I upgraded to the Sigma 50 f1.4. Another thing to consider is the Canon 40mm pancake lens. It's not a large aperture, but it would be a little wider.
