on one software vs nik

This may not be the right place, if not sorry.

I downloaded a trial of the Onone software, for some edge effects on pictures. I really liked it. I notice they have a suite on sale. It seems a lot like nik plugins which I have, but it offers an upgrade to nik.

Does anyone have this that can share any insight? Do you use both?
Is it redundant?
