I was sitting in the car this a.m. sipping a coffee when this fellow came along the woods edge. I was able to get ahead of him and snapped a few images as he "caught up". Now, these might be a bit soft...I have recently switched from my trusty 100-400mm L to an older model 300mm,2.8 L, as I wanted to try a prime for a while....it's been a bit of a learning curve (no IS!) but when the light is poor the 300 has a real edge.

Very pretty shots, Mike, these shots look great! I see you're still in N.O.

Good job, Mike; I haven't seen one of these since earlier in the spring.

Those are great Mike, even without IS, it is a nice hunk of glass and an edge in less than ideal light as these shots show, beautiful Warbler, very nicely done!
