My best friend got married over the weekend, and I offered to take some pictures. As a landscape shooter 99% of the time, I didn't really know how this was going to turn out haha. But here are some shots:

All shot with Nikon D600 + 50mm f/1.8.

Any CC? Especially with the tones and PP.

Thanks!

You might as well start shooting weddings.

Good work. The exposures and lighting look spot on. The first thing that came to mind is the posing is a bit cold. Have them lean towards each other, and interact a bit more. Other than that, good work. The fence shot is a bit awkward though. Post processing is also solid.

While the OP did a great job, this isn't your average run of the mill wedding.

No flash, that was the sun finally breaking a bit through the clouds.

Thanks for the feedback so far!

Yeah I threw on a little bit of vignetting in LR.

First of all, great job on your first wedding!

Here's my C & C:

1. I like it. The only nit pick would be that tree in the background. But hey, you can't move a tree now can you?
2. I like it. I might up the exposure just a tinge. Some funkiness going on with the flowers on the top and right below it. Look at the edges.
3. Skin tone looks a little too red/pink and they look a little underexposed. He has a little hot spot on his forehead too, but not a big deal.
4. The photo feels unbalanced due to the space on the right and with the two people stacked on the left. Looks underexposed as well.
5. Good shot. Not too crazy about the upper part of the background and how the shingle line is cutting through his head. Lighting looks spotty but I like how it looks on their faces.
6. IMHO, this shot would have been better framed looser and with more sun flare because it's kind of in-between. Feels a little washed out too. Maybe up the contrast a little?
7. I like this but their arms look awkward due to the height of the fence. Looks a little underexposed as well.
8. It's a good shot, but I am not sure about the hay roll right smack in the middle and behind them. You could have perhaps used the hay roll (or whatever you call them) as some sort of leading line of some kind. That's assuming there were more than 2 and were forming some kind of geometric pattern.

That said, again, well done for your first!

Really good photos, what a great start. My favorite would have to be 2,3,6,8.

Best first timer pics i have seen so far.
Bump up the xposure and soften the skin little bit. If you are comfortable, play with split toning as well and they will turn from xcellent to amazing!
