Meet this guy when we where walking down to the water, he demanded our attention and wanted us away from his nest. He started playing hurt and made a lot of noise. He got so close that I had troubles with the autofocus on my 70-200mm F2.8L.

Great set, that is a real nice lens. It is pretty cool how they distract you from the nest, I had a Kill deer do that broken wing trick like this guy, great stuff. Excellent set with quite nice detail and light, you have all kinds of light there, black, white, gray, orange....turned out very nice, great job!

Their feigning injury is always funny to watch. The funny thing is there nests are so camouflaged, you wouldn't know it was there, unless they started doing their dance :lol: I guess it fools predators though, which is what matters most I guess.
