Video link at the very bottom. Unable to embed into the forum from what I can see.

EDIT: I accidentally had the short video set to private. Should now work if anyone's tried to view it - ps it ain't all that special hehe.

A Hover that was happy to land on my finger (yes my nails are a disgrace :D)

This caterpillar (I think it's a caterpillar), I found scurrying around in our kitchen of all places. Must have hitched a ride in. I took it outside to take a couple of shots.

...not before trying something that proved to be exceptionally difficult. hand held macro video! I apologise for quite a lot of OOF points but there are a couple of brief in focus parts :) - The video is available up to 1080p if you select it via the settings cog.

Lovely shots, especially the hover. (Have not seen the video as yet.)

Lovely captures.
Have a horrible feeling the caterpillar is a larder beetle larva so I'd check around in the kitchen.

Arrghh... well I found it in the kitchen so yeah, I'll have a nose around and check for more.

Just googled and you're right Brian.

They're related to Carpet beetles... only much bigger. We keep our kitchen very clean so hopefully, if there are any more, there'll be nothing for them to feed on.

Cheers :)
