Like they said, it's an APS-C sensor....

I wish it would have had Digic6 but for me PERSONALLY, I feel going from a Canon PRO1 > EOS-70D is a great upgrade. If people are comparing a full frame 7D to a 70D... I don't think that's fair comparing full frame to APS-C.

What's the worst that can happen, you upgrade to a 70D, don't like it....and go get yourself a Nikon? LOL.... WAH.

I'm not sure if this is a correction (since I'm not sure exactly what you meant) or a clarification (so others don't misinterpret what you wrote), but...

1. DigicX is not the sensor, but the image processor, and
   
2. 7D is not full frame, but APS-C

The 7D is a APS-C crop sensor as well (albiet a 4 year older one!0. The 6D, 5D, and 1D-X are full frame.

7Dmk2 release rumored in Q2 2014. Not sure when announcement will be. However, it's rumored that it will have the same sensor as the 70D

Well, I hope that the 70D sensor has a much better dynamic range @ ISO 100. Because otherwise we're stuck again with a low dynamic range Canon sensor for years.

I think he was trying to say it was better off holding off to 2014 as there was a much better camera coming out. (amongst other stuff)

Like many others you can easily fall into the trap of the ‘waiting game’ hoping soon after a new model is released they'll come down in price, but then rumors start circulating on another new model and so they wait and the frustration builds.

The 70D is going to be Canons flagship prosumer for a long time so theres no point getting hung up on newer models.

If its suits the purpose and you like it...simply get one...

well there's been many times that CR2's never come true...if this one does though, i'll probably be getting the 70D...if there's no 7D II announced before the end of this year, i just can't see how i'd hold back, unless the 70D turns out to be junk, but i like the specs on it...either way it'll be an upgrade from my 40D
