Recently I brought a 6D , coming from 50D , this is a frist time I'm trying to load it onto LR.
Much appreciate for your suggestion.

There is a bunch of newer stuff not supported on LR 3. Your version of lightroom doesn't recognize your new camera. Also, I might be wrong, but check on Adobe's website for the final answer. Maybe there is an update or something.

But be prepared to do a lot of reading and learning because LR4/5 is very different from LR3 in the way tonalities are handled and very much better. Elie / אלי

A convert to 16 bit TIFF would be a better idea than to a JPEG. Canon: 7D (2, 1 gripped), 50D gripped, 500 f/4L IS, 100-400 L IS, 70-200 f/4L IS, 28-135 IS, 10-22, 15-85 IS, 1.4x II, 580EX

JPEG is fine for web or print. Granted, a 16 bit TIFF if more editing involved. Dennis
