google nik plugins collection question

Hi

does someone download and install nik plugins collection ?

the price is really great

but under lightroom is only hdr efex pro available?
i mean can I run from lightroom silver efex pro 2

i run it under w7 64

by the way the installer is rubbish , i don't know even how many registry entries does it create and the uninstaller is even worse

You asked if anyone has installed it but then you said the installer is no good. Did you install it? I like the collection very much. You can use all the software from Lightroom. HDR is done by right clicking the photo sat the bottom while the rest are accessed by going to photo> edit in.

yes i installed but i can't run pluginss outside hdr from lightroom
so my complaints

It's not 'Export' you want, it's 'Edit In'.

First, select/highlight the thumbnail you want to work on, then right click on the thumbnail and in the menu that pops up select 'edit in' and then choose the NIK application you wish to use.

Works fine for me.

I can't see any way myself - Surely this option is setup when you install the whols suite of plugins?

No problem mantra :)

Before NIK were bought-out by G**gle they were always very helpful with answering question/sorting out problems etc. Not sure how things are now, but you might want to contact them (external link) and see if there is a way to do this.
