The first two are a black-crowned night heron.

The others are completely unfamiliar to me - where were they taken?

number 4 is a golden oriole.

like the previous respondent, I don't recognise the others at all. It would help if you could give an idea of where you took the shots, most of this forums users are in the US and, as Golden Orioles aren't found there, you need to find the people more local to you.

If these were taken in a free flight bird house, that would be helpful to know, as otherwise people will assume all birds are from Europe and West Asia, like the oriole.

These seem to be taken in one of the SE asian countries
1. Night heron
3. Oriental magpie robin, male
4. Golden oriole
6. Asian paradise flycatcher, male
9. Asian paradise flycatcher, probably a female or could be a juvenile male
10. Red vented bulbul
11. Looks like an Indian Robin, female

Birding does need a long lens, patience does substitute it sometimes, but more or less is the need. These birds tend to like spots in the shade which translates to low shutter speeds :(

Try the following -
A) Bump up your ISO, you can deal with Noise later
B) Use a monpod/tripod to get sharper images
C) Watch the birds and their favorite perches/spots, that will get you a lot closer

What a bunch of cool looking birds. You almost need some kind of bird reference guide to identify them. You were lucky to be able to take all of those shots. You are a good photographer.
