It's being supplemented by other rifles, primarily the M4, which looks a lot like a standard AR15 with the adjustable stock. The AR15 is a semi-automatic version of the M16 whereas the M16 and M4 are capable of either full-auto or three-round-burst. I've got one of those flickr
