anyone know if a way to lock this sucker on the camera. I've seen the "tie wrap" idea and will do that if thats the only option left.

So far I like em just not the fact it falls off easy.

Take a look at this thread:

Uses easy to find "O" rings. Bought two sizes at Home Depot - #41 and #9. Works like a charm. Put the thicker one (#9) against the trigger body and the thinner one (#41) against the metal hotshoe. You will have a lifetime supply of "O" rings.

Glad it worked for you as well as it does for me. Well done to seoul4korea who did the original work on this. Not sure how often they might need replaced - just keep an eye on them for any tears in the "O" ring rubber.

I just use rubber bands. Office Max size 16 wrapped around the foot a few times and that sucker is on tight.

I tried rubber bands before buying the "O" rings. "O" rings seem to work so much better and aren't really that expensive.

Was like 4 bucks for a pack of 20 each. I have plenty and I tell you want I can literally hold the trigger by itself and shake the crap out of the camera and it doesn't budge. Stronger then the canon flash lock on my 430exII I swear.

I've been doing great with a couple of my daughter's 1" diameter elastic bungee-style rubber bands for her hair. They aren't as high friction as a regular rubber band, and two loops around the shoe allows for easy install and a good secure fit. I just haven't taken the time to head out to my shop to dig through my o rings yet.
