Winter Pictures taken today

Went out today in the snow and took a couple of pictures to get more practice. It was cool outside but, nice to me since I am use to it. I know these are not the best but, until I can get around and venture out where the hills and mountain are then, these will have to do for me right now. Hope you like them.

I really like them, you've exposed the snow just perfect

The trees in the foreground of the 1st one are a bit off putting

The 2nd shot is perfect :)

Those are nice!
I like the second one where there's the splash of vibrant colour in the distance.

Thanks Buggbairn...yeah, i need to do something with the first one for sure. I was just liking how the snow and all looked with the house. The second is out on an icy lake...didn't want to venture far out as I always think of the ice braking...even if it is really thick as they say it is.

Wow, the second one is just beautiful! I love the yellow house standing out in all the monotone surroundings.
